Omg! Don't be fooled by the exterior. This place is filled with great food and a friendly staff. Must try the YUM YUM sauce. The Trilogy dish is amazing!!
This place is a must! Visited Marksville for a work trip and everyone told us to try this place. We were not disappointed. The staff was amazing and helpful and the “yum yum sauce” is phenomenal!

While staying at the casino down the road, some of the casino staff suggested this place. It didnt have any reviews, so I trusted their judgement. I went with 2 of the guys from singer Anthony Hamilton's band, who I tour with. The staff was very friendly. The Owner was there, and he was very nice and hospitable. He even brought us out a tray of crawfish, and a few shrimp to eat while we waited for our food. In total, we ordered about 8 lbs of crawfish, 25 oysters, and several lbs of shrimp. And some Yum Yum sauce, which lived up to its name!! The crawfish were seasoned so well, but spicy as fuk!!! My lips are burning, but guess what? I don't care one bit, because they tasted so good. Good enough that I shared some crawfish with Anthony. After he ate some, he called y phone, laughing, and said, "My lips are on fire, but they taste so good. I want to go down there!!" It seems like everything is made to order, so keep that in mind if you're on a time restriction. I will definitely visit this restaurant in the future. No complaints here!!
2023/05/27 Well, my review still stands! This is a premier place to dine. Brian and his staff are terrific. The food is great. The service is great. Ok, so the building isn't exotic, but I'm paying for the food, not the looks. Love it! Old review (still applicable) follows: Holy Cow, Batman! This place blew us away! Given the looks of the place, my wife and I weren't too sure about eating there but decided to give it a try. So GLAD we did! Not cheap, but very worth it. And, Brian and his wife are super nice. Great place to eat.
Love my Uncles restaurant! Best fried pickles ever! Everything I have ate is so as the special sauce is called yum-yum! This Appetiser is delicious!
Finally had the opportunity to try this place out. The building is pretty small so when My 3 yr old started to cry, I immediately got up to leave. The owner and his staff came to the rescue and insisted that we stay. They were so sweet and brought out his food- gave colors and so on. Speaking of the food- OMG is was fantastic! I think that we finally found a new food spot!!! My son is autistic and is a very picky eater- he had his first pickel tonight (fried) and LOVED it! He even ate a chicken tender - which is very unusual if that tells how wonderful it was! If I could give more stars- I absolutely would. Stephen and his staff are the best! It has literally been YEARS since we had service and food so amazing! Will def be back!
First time visitors from out of town, and we will most definitely be back every time we visit Marksville! Food was excellent, and the Stephens made us feel right at home. Family friendly, great service, and good food-you can’t ask for more!
